FAQ

Questions customers often ask

How much does a cold room cost?

Price follows site size, room temperature, panel thickness and unit package. For a typical canteen pair of about 40 m² (chill + freezer), a standard package usually lands in the tens of thousands of RMB. Tell us the site dimensions, what you store and your power supply — we can give a working budget range first, then a formal quote after the site survey.

How long from order to use?

Panels and doors are made in our own plant — standard sizes usually ship in a few days to two weeks; on-site installation then takes a few days depending on room size. The full schedule is stated with the quote, never "sign first, talk later".

What panel thickness should I choose?

As a rule: 75–100 mm for 0–10 °C, 120–150 mm for -5 to -18 °C, 150–200 mm for -18 to -35 °C. Go thicker with high ambient temperatures, frequent door use or heavy daily throughput. We size to your actual duty — see the thickness table on the Products page.

Can I buy only panels or doors?

Yes. Panels, doors and cabinets are all available separately, produced to the sizes and thicknesses you give us. They can be shipped to your site for self-installation, with our guidance. Irregular panels, cut-outs and openings are made to drawing.

Can an old cold room be repaired, or must it be rebuilt?

In most cases no rebuild is needed. Aged door seals, local panel damage, falling unit efficiency and temperature shortfalls can all be dealt with directly. We inspect on site first, decide what must be replaced and what can stay, then present the plan and cost — no wholesale demolition unless it truly is the better call.

How much electricity does a cold room use per day?

It depends on capacity, temperature, ambient conditions, incoming-goods temperature and door-opening frequency — two same-size rooms can differ by a factor of two or more. At the selection stage we estimate running cost for your actual duty and explain what VFD, auto-defrost and similar options save, and how long they take to pay back.

What about warranty and after-sales?

Warranty is provided after handover, with the term and coverage written into the contract. After it expires, repairs, maintenance, expansion and retrofits remain available long-term — and being based in Boxing, we respond faster, with common spare parts drawn straight from the plant.

What conditions does the site need?

The basics are a level floor, a suitable power supply (three-phase is usually needed, depending on unit size), drainage and an access route for the panels. If the site falls short we flag it early with solutions — no surprise surcharges once work starts.

Can you issue invoices and support tenders?

Yes. As a general VAT taxpayer we issue VAT invoices. For government-procurement or corporate tenders we can supply our business licence, tax credit rating, trademark certificate and other documents.
